6 Months
Today Charlotte is 6 months old!
In the photos you will also notice the ever-present drool string from her chin to her chest, and the other tell-tale signs of teething: neck rash, red eyes and red nose. She looks like a hot mess! We haven't seen any teeth pop through yet, but they must be on their way. Despite the obvious pain she must be in, she hardly ever fusses.
This was a big month for Charlotte. We moved to our new house in Grand Rapids. Once again, she was the most calm and sane member of the family during that whole fiasco. She even chose the first week in our new house to start sleeping through the night. 9:30 pm to 6 am! That deserves a big 'YAY'!
Her room was the first one fully unpacked. Priorities! How else can I find a cute outfit for her to wear everyday (in case a neighbor stops by :) .
She sits up on her own full time now. Even when she topples over, she never cries. She just finds something down there to play with. Even during the photo shoot she took a dive and ended up on her tummy on the chair and still managed to give me a few smiles.
She can:
eat rice cereal (without too much fussing)
babble - choice words are bababaabaaa and yayayayyaaaaaa
smile ALL THE TIME
eat 6+ ounces
Nuggs - bear with mommy and daddy for the next few months as we build you a nice little home to grow up in. It's all for you baby doll! It may be a bit stinky and look a little dingy now but I promise you, it will be beautiful by the time we get done with it. Of course, your smiling face already brightens up the place!
I love you!

The photo shoot (this one made me cry more than the other ones for some reason - I'm a hot mess too) :
We made it a half a year! To illustrate the difference a month makes, you will notice the lack of a card with her age on it in the latter half of the photo shoot. When Charlotte sees something she wants, she takes it. Sign destroyed. Oh well!
