Happy Birthday Ben - Age 6!

 Today is Ben's 6th birthday!

You have to prepare for Ben, because if you aren't steady on your feet he will knock you right over with his enthusiasm! 

He does everything with gusto and excitement. He absolutely loves people, and is our most social kid by far. I am pretty sure he will be some sort of politician one day :)

This year he broke his first bone (his arm), the first of any of our kids. I would have put money on that one. 

When he smiles, he uses his whole face!

Typical of every little boy, he is obsessed with butts and poops and farts. Did you know his butt grew bigger today because he is a year older? He told me so. 

He also loves dinosaurs, dragons, space, and legos. This past year (in quarantine) we have discovered how much Ben loves to draw, and is quite good at it. Although sometimes his drawings don't always end up on paper: 

He also mastered riding with no training wheels this summer, which gave him so much freedom! Neighbors on our block told us how often he rides by on some sort of mission (usually down to his cousins house to use their swing). 

Our days are filled with "no, Ben", "stop, Ben", "careful, Ben", "don't touch it, Ben", "say you're sorry, Ben" but our hearts are filled with love and our house is filled with laughter because of him!
