1 Year!
Today, Charlotte is 1 year old!!
This past month she has really gotten more dynamic with her play. She hugs and kisses her stuffed animals, she builds things with blocks and reads books one page at a time.
She is a full-time walker now and hardly ever stumbles. She can also climb up and down off the couch, making it harder to leave the room knowing she is safe. Adding to injury potential, she loves to climb up stairs and slide back down on her belly.
She has added ball, baby, and boom to the words she can say. Side note: have you ever noticed how many words start with "b"?
Instead of just letting her pacifier drop out of her mouth when we put food or a bottle in it, she actually takes it out with her hand and holds on to it for later. Weaning should be fun ;)
She was a beautiful little star at her first birthday party! I will post pictures of that later this week.
Charlotte, this has been the best year ever because of you! You are an absolute JOY to be with every day! We love you very much and look forward to all the years to come!
