Halloween Potluck
Our street gets together for a Halloween potluck prior to trick-or-treating. Since we both wanted to go trick-or-treating with our little one, we trusted the kids would follow these instructions:
Most kids took one, some traded the candy they already had for better candy,
and some kids took 2 or more.
There were some clever appetizers at the party:
"Spiders" (crackers filled with peanut butter, pretzel stick legs and candy eyes)
"Devil Eyes" (these were mine - deviled eggs with black olives and pimentos)
"Cheese Fingers" (string cheese and red bell pepper fingernails)
"Fresh Flesh" (also mine - made from prosciutto)
"Rest in Pieces of Cheese" (I made these by just cutting squares of cheese into tombstones)
"Cracked Headstones" (I just sawed off the end of TownHouse Crackers to look like tombstones)
Happy Halloween!
